The Basics of Home Canning Course

Have you thought about growing your own garden produce, or purchasing
fruits or vegetables from a local farm this summer? What about finding
a pick-your-own fruit and/or vegetable farm and then freezing or canning
the fresh produce or fruit for later use in family meals? Would you
like to know more about how to use a pressure canner?

You can learn the basics and how-to of home food preservation by
attending the upcoming class being offered by Penn State Cooperative
Extension in Wayne County: The Basics of Home Canning, July 15 from
6:30PM - 9:30PM.

Pre-registration is required. Registration fee for the class is $10 per
person. The class will be held at the Penn State Cooperative Extension
Office, 648 Park Street, Honesdale. To register, or for more
