Workshop on Landscaping with Native Plants

A practical program on using native plants in your landscape will be offered by The Penn State Master Gardeners in Wayne county on Wednesday, April 16 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at the Wayne County Visitors Center in Honesdale.

Accomplished Master Gardener and native plant enthusiast, Sue Thompson, will define Pennsylvania native plants, discuss why it is beneficial to use them in our landscapes, and share ideas on how to do it. Designs and PA native plants for butterfly/hummingbird, healing, meditation, wildlife, and Native American medicinal herb gardens will be discussed.

Cost to attend the workshop is $3.00 per person, payable at the door. Pre-registration is appreciated but not required. Please contact the Extension office at (570) 253-5970 x 4110 or by e-mail to WayneExt@psu.edu.
