No, it is not October nor is it Halloween! But, Leader Warnock feels that scarecrows make for good contests! Each Wayne County 4-H club is invited to participate. Scarecrows are due at the Wayne County 4-H Family Picnic scheduled for Monday, July 28. Displays will be judged on originality, 4-H message, attraction, design and workmanship. After judging, the Scarecrows will be displayed throughout the Wayne County Fairgrounds during the Wayne County Fair, scheduled to begin on Friday, August 1 and continuing through Saturday, July 9. Get the details from your leader at the next 4-H Club meeting.
